Like another of your previous commenters I too was a bit concerned about retirement but then got the bug of family history. I had not met my dad's older brother and so, although aware of, never knew very much at all about his family, who was alive, where etc. Then one day it all just clicked into place. I contacted my cousin via this site (she only had herself, brother, mother and father on) and within one hour she had checked her paperwork and now we are in regular contact even though we are in two different countries. It was an amazing feeling to be able to put my dad's life together a bit more and gain a cousin or two in the bargain.
