I just wanted to say a bigthank you to those that have helped me search for my grandfather who was a missing link in our family. My mother I believe never really knew what happened to her father, as her parents seperated and lived in different states, my grandfather worked up around the Cairns area in Queensland, and my grandmother lived in Victoria.
I have had people find out information for me, and I have been able to go to the Queensland State archives, where I went looking for when my grandmother came out, as I was informed that Herbert whom she later married actually sponsored for her and a brother to come to Australia. While at the archives I was able to find the files containing the information on my grandfathers death. For the past 50 add years no one in my family knew where my grandfather was buried or officially how he died.
So to all who I have bugged and asked for help, a big thank you, and I can officially say, I have found my grandfather, as it was he passed away in 1925.
thanks again, and I will still bug for help as I am now only looking for a great.greatgrandfather who came out here with his wife in 1839.
