I have just turned 60 and have never met my father of any of his family. I knew absolutely nothing about them until I started my tree on GR and now have 2300 people altogether, going right back to the 1600s. A lovely lady in Bodmin discovered that we were distantly related and we have been writing to each other. Two days ago, she told me that she had found, by telephoning around, an aunt of mine still living in Liskeard!!! She knew my father well and remembers my mother when she was living there. I am now looking forward to receiving first-hand information, together, hopefully, with photo´s. I can´t thank GR, and all the wonderful people who use it, enough.
