After researching my grandfathers family William Riddell,a tricky one as he was parted from his mother and little sister in 1920 ,he was admitted to the work house and his sister sent to London,I have at last traced a close relative ,the daughter of Mary Ann Riddle,I am still searching in North Shields for the McLaughlins who looked after my grandfather William as a baby, but to find a real cousin was a unbelievable experience, thankyou everyone for your help and support,Best wishes Gillian, never give up |
