A few months ago I posted the name Michael Trundle and gave some details. A very nice lady used her credit to locate four Michael Trundles with full addresses. I then wrote to each one on the Monday, posted the letters on my way to work on the Tuesday and on the Wednesday evening after I got home from work, one by one they each rang me. And caller no 3 was the Michael I had been trying to trace. It was amazing. There was another cousin in Leeds(Brian) who was also named Trundle and he hadn't seen or spoken to Michael for 50 years. We all met up in Lincolnshire at Shirley's (Brian's sister). Brian picked me up at Leeds station and drove me over to Shirley's. We spent a great day going over all the info each of us had collected. Believe it or not, they too had been researching their families. We are in constant touch now and I am planning on going to spend some time in Leeds with Brian and Lynn (his wife), hopefully I'll be able to get over to Woodhouse, because that is where my Grandmother was born. Both Brian and Michael's fathers (my grandma's brothers) were born in Wigan, where I am from. After teh death of Great Granddad Leonard, Great Grandma Hannah move back to Yorkshire with her family still living with her. They settled in Barnsley. I have had a lot of queries answered by Michael and Brian and also by Shirley. It has opened up my family to another side. Thank you so much..
