I just wanted to thank genes, I have been looking for years, for my dads brothers, here and there, trips to scotland, only to have it all here on this website, a couple of months ago, Ann contacted me asking if my dad had a brother all the names and places matched, nans name and dads details, i contacted my dads brother on saturday and then for the 1st time in 69 years my dad spoke to his brother. I know my dad is overwhelmed and still is in shock, the family are all going to meet the new family in Aberdeen at the end of the may. what a christmas this year we are going to have with our new scottish relatives! |
