Thanks to GR.
My nan's mother died a few days after she was born. My nan never really knew her family from her mother's side. I took up the challenge to find out all about her mother's side just from the year she died.
I have discovered a huge family tree of James from Chislehurst. I even found my nan's mother's grave for her to visit.
Since the 1911 census came out I discovered that my nan's mother also had a brother who I didn't know about. I've only found his son on here! My nan now has first cousins from her mother's side that she didn't know existed and they are trying to arrange to meet.

It really does work!
