Half-sister meeting for the first time!!

Hi everyone - great news for me. I'm finally meeting my half-sister in two weeks time (and her baby girl), I've never met my half-sister before.

I got back in touch with my dad a few years back and we see one another once or twice a year (we live some distance from each other, however do email) - however he was also estranged from his daughter who he has only reconciled with. So, after being an only child for so many years, I'm finally meeting my half-sister - and a niece as well. Lovely to be called 'Uncle James.'

I'm just going to see how things go - I am a bit nervous, I'm sure my half-sister will be too. But defintely going for it - life's too short.
