I never imagined that i would be able to find out about my mothers family as her and her brother and sister were brought up by other people after thier mother was put into an asylum (post natal depression) and they never saw her again.they didn't know anything about thier father or mother,but armed with what little knowledge i had and lots of wonderful people on GR i have managed to build a good family tree.thanks especially to jill stevens for all the info she gave me on my family,it was great to find out we were related and i'm in touch with several distant relatives now all over the country.thank you all you lovely people on GR. |
