Last june I was so frustrated at hitting brick walls when trying to find out about my dad. I logged on to Genes for one last try and spotted a hint given to someone in a similar position to me, I contacted Barnado's and they agreed to do a search for my dad for me. They foung records of my dad and i have just received a full history pack from them, including photos of my dad aged 5 and 15 years. I have also found about other relatives through this that I didn't know about. It has filled in a lot of gaps for me and my family. I had to pay for the search and then for the information but it was worth every penny. Thankyou to Genes. Without you I probably would have given up altogether' |
