Talked to a few people who from gossip within the family managed to confirm that a member of my family who had children but never married was also part of their family.
It took both histories and lots of chat. Putting it all together proved it and now I have living relatives that I had no idea existed.
Even found some in Australia.
They have now seen photos of their ancesters they never knew existed. Seeing what they looked like for the first time.
Its a fantastic way to do geanealogy.
BEWARE This can be very emotional.
