i was born in 1944 and then adopted, but i've just found out I have a half brother and several elderly aunts and uncles who remember my birth and the circumstances which led to me being adopted.my brother was told that I had died and at the moment is finding it hard to accept that was not the case, but hopefully he will contact me,his our aunt is hoping to persuade him.It was amazing to find out my birth name and where I came from, although I had a wonderfully happy childhood with my adoptive parentsI always wondered who my real family were.GR has been a marvellous tool in enabeling to unravel my past.My advice is to keep going and there are so many helpful people online, sending you snippets of info.thank you GR john gillett
