Glenys the Menace!

Glenys the Menace! Report 12 Dec 2008 09:06

Hi, last night I opened an email from a newly-found cousin on here. He mentioned some cousins of mine in Ireland that would like to contact me! Uh?!
They'd seen a message I'd put on Trying To Find in 2004 .....!
So - I emailed them, they emailed back, and wow, they're descendants of my maternal Grandad's brother. Hubby and I took the details to my parents' last night, showed Mum and she gasped, put her hands up to her mouth, and burst into tears. She had waited years for this (she's 76).
Funny how these things happen when you least expect it - not Mum crying lol, but finding new relatives. We hope to speak on the phone this weekend.
Thanks Jim! *big sloppy kiss* and hello Tim, Marie, Rosie and everyone!
It again supports the saying: Never give up hope.
