Tracking down my long lost Cousins

Wendy Report 4 Dec 2008 21:03

Hi my name is Wendy & thanks to my big brother Andrew I got interested in building our family tree through genes reunited
he was doing it himself but then had to put it all on hold having started a family of his own so I took over.
I never thought I'd end up chatting to my long lost cousin in USA or one I hardly knew from Dagenham as we'd only met 2 or 3 times in all of my life the one in America I use to be babysat by here & her younger sister as a baby then she left for America nearly 23 years ago & we all lost touch she was one of my closest cousins & every weekend we were spending weekends at their home because my father was the older & closer to their mother they were so close its a wonder our 2 families didn't live together we went on holidays & xmas was either at theirs or ours we were that close a family our parents had other brothers & sisters but our father & their mother were inseperable when they got together although she was the baby of all the children my Aunt was the dominattor over her older brother.
I was seperated from my cousins for 20 years & now they are all appearing again thanks to genes reunited so the man I am with wants to gather us all together for one big family reunion hopefully in 2009 when I will be the big 40.
A very big thank you genes reunited
