	Very many thanks to Genes reunited. Aftrer a very wobbly start I have followed my late husbands ancestors back to the 18th century on two lines and had a lot of fun . I've been in touch with so many helpful people and learned a lot of general history as well as family history . It is surprising the questions which crop up and you just have to get searching to find out the answer. i.e. why were there French soldiers dying around the Petersfield area in 1790. I've still got a couple of sticking points but shall keep digging .Thanks. Sylvia.
