I have been really surprised to find so many connections to many different lines of my family. Many of us got together and exchanged certificates, photos and information. Most came from Cardiff-my home, but some came from the Wirral, Cornwall, West Wales and Bristol. They were all glad to have the opportunity to get together. Next time though I will arrange one line of the family at a time as it became confusing.

I still find people every so often on Genes and enjoy adding to my tree which has spread from Cardiff to Cornwall to London and across the water to America and Australia.

The stories that people tell you add to the fascination of the extended family. I am the sort of researcher who likes to find out where family moved and what they did for a living giving you a view into life all those years ago.

To all the people who have willingly passed on information and helped me along the way-many thanks!
