having joined genes reunited to trace my own ancestors, i thought might be able to help my sister in law yvonne find her sister margaret. yvonne, having been adopted at 2 months old only found out she had a sister when a few years ago she wanted to look for her birth mother. with the help of the fantastic people on genes reunited who spend time looking up info for the likes of me yvonne has now actually met her sister and her children plus families at margarets home. margaret has just spent a week with yvonne. she went home yesterday. cannot believe how well they got on and the similarities between the two! all this in a matter of months!!! |
