My mum's side of the family had always been a bit of a mystery as her parents died when she was 21. All she knew was her mums maiden name and her dad's sister's married name.

I originally registered with genes reunited 2 years ago but renewed my membership yesterday.

I spent several hours last night emailing various people with Rhead relatives in the hope of finding someone. Today I got an email from Iain. He is my mums, dads, sisters son i.e. her cousin.

As a result Iain is now going to visit my mum tonight for the first time and show her some family photos.

Just wanted to share as it means alot to my mum.
