can i please just say a huge thank-you to genes reunited and to a lovely lady jackie, with the help of these i have traced back my tree to early 1800s. today i was talking to a distant rellie who mentioned a mans name and said he lives very close to me and is the nephew of my gt grandafather. out of curiosity i looked him up in the phone book there he was his name and address. i plucked up the courage not knowing what i would get at the other end. then to my joy it was him born in 1916 and still very healthy living less than 3miles from me, he was over the moon i contacted him and is now sorting details for me with regards to our family history.
hoping the meet him very soon!!!
thanks again to every single person who has helped answer threads ive posted.
best wishes,
tasha x
