I was the only family member (of my generation) born outside the UK, and had 20 lst cousins in Britain. Visited, but 1973 saw me in London, in a flat, and in an office position.

Amongst others, I had one cousin, his wife, their son and his "bride" for a meal. Before I left to return to New Zealand I had a call to say that the "bride" had a baby son - Simon.

Forward to 2005, and I join GR. To my surprise, in Hot Matches.
"someone" was enquiring about my mother,, none other than Simon's wife!!. The "bride" is still living near London and recalls out meeting all those years ago.

I am having a lovely correspondence with my relatives.

Thank you, Genes Reunited.
