Another BIG thank you to KathrynB (in Canada) who helped me once again. We've been trying to trace my husband's side of the family - all we had was a name and that he went to South Africa from the UK. Kathryn managed to look into the National Archives in South Africa & found a document there which has assured my husband and my father-in-law that he did exist & we have his wife's name. A word of advice to all GR members: if someone offers to help - accept it and don't forget to thank them!
Thanks again GR for a fantastic service you provide to all budding ancestry hunters!
