Sometimes the results from GR can be quite spectacular... as I found out recently.

When I joined GR I had very little information about my biological father other than his name and believed him dead. After several years quite happily researching the rest of my family tree (500+ names so far) imagine my surprise when I was contacted by my 'real' dad.

It turned out that he was very much alive and kicking...and a member of Genes Reunited too!! So at age 42, I now have a new dad and look forward to learning more about a whole new family.

Perhaps not the most exciting story around but I hope it gives anyone who is hoping for their own little 'miracle' that extra bit of encouragement.
