I would just like to thank the Genes Reunited site. My mother made contact with an aunt who had been looking for her half brothers family for over thirty years and this came about because I was trying to research my fathers family history. Following some wrong directions and listing numerous threads then removing these threads when it became apparent the information was incorrect and writing a new thread for tips on where to go next I have decided that enough searching has been done to find my fathers family. My mum is over the moon about contact with her extended family and I'm now ready to let my search go. Thank you to the member who responded to my tips query your answer helped me to make the decision to stop trying. |
