After almost 30 odd years looking for my two adopted sisters I was amazed to find a message waiting for me on Genes. I answered and found one of my sisters. That was over three years ago and we are in constant contact. I am still looking for the youngest sister on this site.
It does feel strange after all this time referring to my sister, but I am so glad I had the courage to put my family tree on here.
To all those who are apprehensive about looking for a relative and cautious about putting their details on this site I say "go for it". I am so glad that I did.
Never say never, you like me could find a family member.
