i would just like to say a huge thank you to ;margaret,selena,jenna,jeanette,langdon lass, masami,glitter baby and andrew for their fantastic help in finding my grandad robert warren who turned out to be warrent after lots of searching .i would never had got there on my own as i would never have thought it was the same person.when i spoke to my dad just now he tells me that as a child he saw a drawing that his dad robert had done and it had warrent on it but dad assumed that because robert had been in the army it meant warrent officer.so now i know the name was changed for some reason.i wont be so quick to dissmiss name changes when looking for other relatives, and i have lots to look for so i may be in contact again.but only if i get realy stuck like i did on this one. once again thank you all for your help it was invaluable. pam |
