I would like to say a huge thank you to Kath, Reggie and Glitter Baby for the info regarding Leonard Carbine. What a surprise to find that Clarence (his son) moved to Wales. I'll have to try and find out whether he moved there with his parents or later on in adulthood. I'll definitely order his birth certificate and the marriage certificate of Leonard. Leonard born 1900 was definitely the younger brother of my grandfather Cornelius (Percy). I hope to find out one day what became of him. Family history research certainly throws up some surprises - I recently discovered that my Carbine(s) ancestors came from Cornwall and not London as I had always supposed. They came to London around 1835.

Once again, thank you so much everybody for all your help.
