On Saturday I had the pleasure of meeting a 3rd cousin for the first time. Not that it was the first time I had ever met him. In fact I have met him on numerous occasions over the last few years. What was different this time was that we met on GR and on sharing family details established the connection. Never having ever met any living relative of mine before, close or otherwise, it was nice to hear the words spoken, “So you’re my third cousin.” A good bit of chatting then took place.
