I read every now and then how someone complains about Genes Reunited (so many matches, etc.) But it only takes a short time to take a quick look, see if that person could be a match for your family (obviously if your relative was born in Wales and the other in Australia, you discard it fast!). I've never found it to be onerous to go through them - in fact, I get all excited when I see a new batch of Hot Matches!

I have found a number of distant cousins in Wales and Scotland from Genes Reunited, which I never dreamed was possible - I used to think about it 40 years ago, but thanks to the Internet it is a lot easier. I haven't had much luck anywhere else, so I'm delighted with the results. I just take a few matches at a time, then go back later to check some more.

Keep up the good work!
