Very heavy rain and high winds over night - we survived a lot more leaves missing and a few bits of fence need an extra nail or 2. I think we were very lucky.

Little bit of a cheat - but been thinking of my late mother lately - this was one of her favorites - we saw him live as soon as the show was announced in London - I managed to get tickets for her. It was the last song for her as the curtains surrounded her.

The sun has been shining brightly here, but very cold. At least we were spared any storms.

Thankyou all for your concern for my Grandson 1. We have to take him to a hospital about 18 miles away each morning this coming week, from Monday to Thursday.
He is having some kind of contraption put on his head to monitor his brain for 4 days. The data will be downloaded everyday in the hope of being able to give him a proper diagnosis.

Tabitha, I'm glad Mum-In-Law has had good pain relief. At least that's one less thing for her to bear at present :-)


QG, Good to "see" you again. When I saw the news about the earthquakes and potential tsunamis in New Zealand I was worried. Hope you and yours are safe and well :-)

It's been foggy and drizzly here this last couple of days.

Things have been difficult here, as Grandson 1's seizures are very frequent now.
He and his little family were here last night, and he was going unconscious and fitting continually, even collapsing on the stairs when I sent him to have a lie down.
It's very worrying :-(
