I love Think Twice and Celine
I have The Colour Of My Love Album (which Think Twice is on) and others. It's one of my favourite albums. I like singing along to it when I'm painting! :-D :-D (Decorating not art!) :-D :-D :-D

You can cheat if you like Prickles! This thread is about sharing our love of music and chatting as much as an alphabetical order! :-) :-)
I'm so sorry about Jonesey, I didn't know him myself, but I can see he was well thought of! Bad week for the GR Family, between Jonesey and GRMarilyn :-( :-(
Lovely song choice Prickles! Just listened to it!

<3 PAN FO'R NOS YN HIR....
Ryan a Ronnie...... (a Welsh Double act like Morecambe and Wise but with singing!)

PAN FO'R NOS YN HIR....written by Ryan Davies (above)
Pan fyddo’r nos yn hir, A phell y wawr. Brwydro drwy’r oriau hir, Heb gwsg un awr. Ymladd a throi a throi, Drwy’r oriau maith. Heb weled diwedd ddoe, Na phen i’r daith. Yna drwy’r twyllwch du, Gwelaf dy wyneb di, Wrth gofio’r rhamant, Cau mae’r amrant, Pan fo’r nos yn hir. Yna drwy’r twyllwch du, Gwelaf dy wyneb di, Ac ofn a cilio braw diflana pan fo'r nos yn ddydd
ENGLISH LITERAL TRANSLATION-
WHEN THE NIGHT IS LONG:
When the night is long and the dawn is far away Battling through the long hours without an hour’s sleep Fighting, tossing and turning through the great, long hours Without seeing the close of yesterday nor the end of my journey Then through the black darkness I see your face I remember the romance the eyelid closes When the night is long.
Then through the black darkness I see your face Fear and terror vanish away When the night becomes day

Good Morning Prickles :-) :-)
As you enjoyed Calon Lan I wondered whether you would enjoy a very well loved Welsh Classic
M- MYFANWY
This is a favourite with Welsh Male Voice Choirs and other artists. This one is my favourite at present but I love many other versions.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2f382uMJvA
Paham mae dicter, O Myfanwy, Yn llenwi'th lygaid duon di? A'th ruddiau tirion, O Myfanwy, Heb wrido wrth fy ngweled i? Pa le mae'r wên oedd ar dy wefus Fu'n cynnau 'nghariad ffyddlon ffôl? Pa le mae sain dy eiriau melys, Fu'n denu'n nghalon ar dy ôl?
Pa beth a wneuthum, O Myfanwy I haeddu gwg dy ddwyrudd hardd? Ai chwarae oeddit, O Myfanwy  thanau euraidd serch dy fardd? Wyt eiddo im drwy gywir amod Ai gormod cadw'th air i mi? Ni cheisiaf fyth mo'th law, Myfanwy, Heb gael dy galon gyda hi.
Myfanwy boed yr holl o'th fywyd Dan heulwen ddisglair canol dydd. A boed i rosyn gwridog iechyd I ddawnsio ganmlwydd ar dy rudd. Anghofia'r oll o'th addewidion A wnest i rywun, 'ngeneth ddel, A dyro'th law, Myfanwy dirion I ddim ond dweud y gair "Ffarwél".
ENGLISH TRANSLATION-
Why is it anger, O Myfanwy, That fills your eyes so dark and clear? Your gentle cheeks, O sweet Myfanwy, Why blush they not when I draw near? Where is the smile that once most tender Kindled my love so fond, so true? Where is the sound of your sweet words, That drew my heart to follow you?
What have I done, O my Myfanwy, To earn your frown? What is my blame? Was it just play, my sweet Myfanwy, To set your poet's love aflame? You truly once to me were promised, Is it too much to keep your part? I wish no more your hand, Myfanwy, If I no longer have your heart.
Myfanwy, may you spend your lifetime Beneath the midday sunshine's glow, And on your cheeks O may the roses Dance for a hundred years or so. Forget now all the words of promise You made to one who loved you well, Give me your hand, my sweet Myfanwy, But one last time, to say "farewell".

What a most beautiful voice she had! What a loss! :-( :-(
Greased Lightning................. John Travolta
This song was supposed to have been sung by Jeff Conaway, who played Kenickie, in the Film Grease. But apparently John Travolta wanted it and put pressure on the producers in order to be given it!

Get Here....
Oleta Adams
You can reach me by railway You can reach me by trailway You can reach me on an airplane You can reach me with your mind You can reach me by caravan Cross the desert like an Arab man I don't care how you get here Just get here if you can You can reach me by sailboat Climb a tree and swing rope to rope Take a sled and slide down slope Into these arms of mine You can jump on a speedy colt Cross the border in a blaze of hope I don't care how you get here Just get here if you can There are hills and mountains between us Always something to get over If I had the way Surely you'd be closer I need you closer You can windsurf into my life Take me up on a carpet ride You can make it in a big balloon But you'd better make it soon You can reach me by caravan Cross the desert like an Arab man I don't care how you get here Just get here if you can I don't care, I don't care I need you right here right now I need you right here right now right by my side yeah I don't care how you get here Just get here if you can

Good Evening Prickles :-)
The Welsh Favourite.....CALON LAN
Nid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus, Aur y byd na'i berlau mân: Gofyn wyf am galon hapus, Calon onest, calon lân.
Cytgan: Calon lân yn llawn daioni, Tecach yw na'r lili dlos: Dim ond calon lân all ganu- Canu'r dydd a chanu'r nos.
ENGLISH TRANSLATION-
I don't ask for a luxurious life, the world's gold or its fine pearls: I ask for a happy heart, an honest heart, a pure heart.
Chorus: A pure heart full of goodness, More lovely than the pretty lily: Only a pure heart can sing - Sing in the day and sing in the night.
