Thank you for your concern for my Grandson. He saw the Orthopedic Consultant today, and we saw the X-Ray :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

However, he said they now do not use the immobilising brace that the A&E Doctor talked about, as he said there is evidence to suggest that it is not beneficial for healing.

He has to continue with the sling. It should take about 6 weeks to heal.

The daft thing was, it wasn't his skateboard :-| :-| He hasn't used his in years!

Also sitting by us in the waiting room was another boy in his year, who he used to play football in a team with. He had broken his leg going to school on his skateboard Friday morning !!!
