My photo is now a plant of similar kind - sadly it is known as "stinking" , but looks good in my plot - unusual plants attract this lady :-)

Greenfingers Report 4 Feb 2013 20:08

Colour of this plant is practically black . In my plot I own also King of the Night and a gold Lotus plant of this family. .I am a fan of this plant and now own many. Thanks for pointing out how charming it is

If only good looks could assist us through, without using anything apart from that, if that was right all of us doing this would soon win.

Funny that, you should say,
for in my box I do sit,
working out, how to play
that task with knights and rooks,
my 'oppo' is far too good
my winning ploy, is my good looks
.......and my wit.........

;-)

Greenfingers Report 3 Feb 2013 10:49

Its amazing that you can adapt any building into accommodation, if you own lots of cash . Would you call it a room with a loo !

Vintagefinemaid

Vintagefinemaid Report 3 Feb 2013 10:43

Talking of loos - a local loo, built in Victoria's day, is now a bungalow. Loo in town not far away is a salon for cutting hair. Loo on holiday similar to tardis !!!

Morning all
Holidays you did book sound good Lynda, Autumn in Canada would suit moi.
Alarm did go off too soon, Saturday and Sunday should be days to lay in

GinN

GinN Report 1 Feb 2013 22:12

Not all good in my county of Norfolk, Strong winds and lots of rain - cold and damp.
Looking forward to my Spring holidays, hoping for sunny days at last. Going to visit Italy in July, also hoping to go to Canada again in Autumn, so gorgious in Fall. Boston is also worth visiting , many historical buildings, and a big harbour full of boats and tall ships. Don't miss taking photographs, though, it's worth it! Can't wait
for my short vacation this April, I'm going to London for two nights with my Hubby.
Pimlico is a good destination for art and fashion, not withstanding its cosmopolitan population.
Caio, Lynda.

Wow, daffodils so soon. Spring blooms, popular with our family, crocus, tulips and narcissus. Snowdrops in local burial ground bloom on Christmas Day. Then sky coloured blooms that ring abound in local woods in March and April.

Ruby Report 31 Jan 2013 17:09

Stormy last night with warnings of strong rotational winds, but sun is out and all is calm today.

I also grow daffodils, but do miss snowdrops and wild primula, also cowslips, all found in woods and rolling downland hills of my youth. Such happy days! I will stop talking now, so, as Chummy would say "TTFN".

Today is bright and sunny, with not a cloud to spoil my outlook. And daffodils in bloom within sight of my window

Your husband is walking dog! - miraculous :-D :-D

Today is bit windy, bit sunny, bit cloudy - nothing much to do apart from dog walking .

Boring, boring, boring - roll on Spring - can't wait to start all the pruning and hacking back. Lots of stuff to put in propagator, though - shouldn't sit around all day doing nothing.
