:-D :-D :-D

And the merino sheep is a direct descendent of the Woolly Mammoth, which itself was a well known marsupial ie it had a pouch; admittedly this was for the storage of tobacco but later became a part of the rearing of its young. Ain't evolution marvellous :-D

Idiocy ;-)

Horniferrous

For Allan .....
Horniferrous describes a newly discovered species of Lizard ( LACERTILIA FERRUM) which have developed lethal horns of iron.

They lay eggs, which have a hard iron-rich shell, that resemble ball bearings.
This deters predators from eating them as, unlike the Lacertilia Ferrum, most predators do not have cast-iron stomachs. Any predators that do attempt to eat the eggs experience horrendous toothache and severe constipation!! ;-)
