Quinsgran, I don't know that I have ever had mousaka, but OH is planning on planting some eggplants so will give it a whirl!

I didnt use Lamb mince or wine but beef and its still nice.
There are several recipes and I juggle them and make my own version including using Yoghurt for the topping and tasty Cheddar cheese instead of Parmesan because I didnt have any

Edmunds cookbook was the basic recipe and I alter it to suit .
Its best to cook it the day before and let all the flavours blend together
