Hi all~~
Strange Liz, but May the Ist was worst ...It's like a funeral you hang in there and put on your best face, ( I couldn't do that at my mam's in 1991 tho I spent the day in her bedroom in tears) and then fell apart the next day.
Dad looked after her for years after many strokes and heart attacks.
But it's him I miss the most, mum had no quality of life when she died, and I suppose I see it as a blessing for her passing.
Dad was physically not to good but he had all his marbles !!
The kids would ask maths questions, hubby and I would debate about , but Dad would know straight away, not just maths..his best subject, but anything !
I cried for days when we lost him:((

Not a good day today would have been my dad's 97th birthday, and the 12th anniversary of my step father in laws death :(( I was OK tho:)
Dad's house has been sold and we hope to exchange contracts next week.

No Van Gogh or Monet on my bedroom wall - from time to time, I had Marc Bolan, George Best and Rod in his tartan scarf days.

Yes Sue almost there , but I'll give it to you:))
There were 12 sunflowers in the vase.
It doesn't look like it tho.
I did A level Art and my bedroom wall had prints of Van Gogh and Monet, Che Guevara and Usaf (can't remember his original name.. getting old now.lol)
Dau had all the boy bands prints on her wall, and son had all the sporty racing cars !
