Hi Liz. Wow! You've really found some interesting facts in your family search. Hope you continue with success. I too had that problem with "Aunties" who were not in fact related!

The Clifton Suspension Bridge is a Suspension Bridge , Spanning the Avon Gorge, linking Bristol to North Somerset. It was Designed by Isembard Kingdom Brunel , and Opened in 1864.

It's great to move forward on your tree.Pleased for you:)
My dad and his cousin gave me a great start on my tree, dad died in 2004 aged 90 and his cousin died in 2007 aged 97 ( I always known her as my aunt Queenie and thought of her as my aunt .)
Queenie by name and as a Queen by nature, I loved her to bits.
My mum had an usual name, she had 3 names but was known by her middle name, dad also had 3 names John being his last but was known as Jack. So I put their known as names when I began searching on Genes and had a lot of contacts, wouldn't have had I used their first names .lol

Hi, Sandie.

It's a bit of family I'd given up on after discovering my GGgrandma had been married 3 times - thought she'd only had children with her last husband, but have now discovered a child from the first marriage. And I've got in touch with a decendant of her brother.

Had a quiet day today, apart from going out for a very nice pub lunch.

Sorry, got myself distracted by suddenly making some progress with an area of my family tree which had been completely stuck!

it was Designed by Isembard Kingdom Brunel a O in1864.

I've looked at the clue before but got nothing - as soon as I looked today, I saw the IKB bit straight away. Strange.

Sorry to have been away for so long. I've been doing my virtual St George the virus slayer act. Seriously, I couldn't connect to anything except ad sites that I hadn't requested. Anyway, all fixed now. If you ever want to understand the finer points of the dns cache, just ask....
