In our neighborhood so many beautiful homes are demolished and another house built, so silly, you can understand when they replace one house with flats that is for profit but a house with another house ?

Yes I have to agree. There are too many Shopping Centres I think.

Not just shopping centes but huge Skyscrapers with half of the offices in them not being used. Thats why the rents are so high. They have to make a quid somehow.
I remember coming to W A in 1967 and the T and G bulding was the tallest building 8 stories high. Perth is just full of them now 30 to 40 stories

I'm afraid we are against destroying something perfectly good and functional to build the same thing over again it's just a waste of time and resources. They are crying bankrupt now, makes no sense at all so wasteful.

All those centers have exactly the same shops and the local Westfield was recently rebuilt unnecessarily and they evicted the library that was in the basement to make room for ANOTHER GYM there are 3 in there now.
The library is now in a prefab building in the garden of the council chambers until they get a new building.
