I don't think children should be indoctrinated into a religion until they are old enough to decide if it is the one they want to belong to.

Yes my son was very much like that too. Funnily enough I was a shy reserved child at school. Not any more though lol

Russell had to take everything to pieces to see how they worked.
I came home one day and a Motorbike was in the dining room in pieces.
He got a real rollicking for that one lol

I just always had to question WHY about everything.

Now that reminds me of my eldest son

He was having a Scripture Lesson at school and the teacher who was a Salvation Army Major said that God was more important than anyone.

My son being the cheeky person that he is said. No sir my Mum and Dad are more Important to me They feed me and give me good things .

I was so ashamed as the Major phoned me and said my son was being cheeky. I never pressed either of my children regarding religion so I just said well that's how he feels and he said he won't be coming back. They did have the option of going to religious studies then. I don't think they do them in most schools now a days unless of course it is a religious school.

It was rather embarrasing though but I wanted him to find out about religion for himself and unfortunatelyy he never did religion again.

Once when I was very small I was in someone's house and loudly asked why the towels in the bathroom had XXX Hotel written on them because ours didn't have any writing on them. lol
I was that sort of child, I once asked the scripture teacher who Gods parents were.

Yes it does make you ashamed especially when they boast about what they have done. It is after all stealing, Beer mat or whatever they take. I have seen people putting glasses in their bags while in a hotel myself. Then they dispaly them in their cabinets for all to see. I hsve been in homes where I have said what nice glasses and they have openly boasted on where they got them

The talk back radio is on about the bar mat incident and so many people are ringing in about petty crimes they have committed overseas and they are quite proud of themselves.
