Hi Sandie, Liz and Jan
Sandie got bogged down earlier on my own and couldn't see the wood for the tree's, lol so had to have a rest, glad to see you and the other's worked it out. I wasn't sure if Daff was reffering too single or word same, the way she'd written it confussed me. {Doesn't take much to do that lol}

on 6th April/August 1955/54 the United States of America D and/at A B on/of/our the C of/on/our H is/in/if J

Yes I think you're right with Solo

Daffs clue...The S was not Single but another word for same.
Diane and myself were thinking it was another word for same, but Daff meant single .doh !
Yes that sounds much better cos Travelling Wilburys is correct.

Sorry couldn't get back sooner,it's a shame we're in a different time zone.

Enjoy your tea Diane, perhaps catch you later :)

It's difficult doing a question on your own, especially when it's food time for the workers, I don't mind so much after they've been fed.lol
I think your correct with Roy Orbison as he was signed with Sun Records and the S and O.
Have to cheat a bit and google:)))

as well as a S Recording A " the B O " R O was O of the T W w B R T in 1988

I am going to bed now Diane so I will give a few clues.

The S was not Single but another word for same.

The connection to Elvis is Sun Records.

One O is just O and one of the words is a number.

Goodnight.

Diane

Diane Report 8 Jun 2009 17:09

as well as a Single Record Award " the B O " Recording/ Record O was Offically of the T W win B R T in 1988

any nearer Daff, need new brain cell's or help from someone else

Daphne

Daphne Report 8 Jun 2009 16:55

as well as a S R A " the B O " R O was O of the T W w B R T in 1988

There is a slim connection between this and the last question.
