Hi Jackie~~
Hope you're well today, except for the sniffles.
My nephew was born in S Africa and his 2nd visit to Wales was when we had a few foot of snow, he was about 5 . He was totally amazed by it ! My 'children' love it even now.. I hate it ! although it doen't bother me driving in it .
We don't need man made snow here Daff !lol

They are good at twisting us round their little finger.

But what the heck we still love them to bits.
My Grandchildren are just the same Daff

WhackyJackieInOz Report 9 Jun 2009 14:28

Lol They love a little snooze don't they?

I have a recipe with Honey Lemon and fresh or dried Thyme for coughs it is brilliant. All the family use it. I never buy cough medicine from the chemist. It keeps up to 3 weeks in the fridge too and so easy to make

I always have a bottle of Chinese herbal cough medicine in the cupboard in winter. The ingredients you would recognize are honey and cumquat I don't know what the others translate to, the translator has dozed off on the couch by the heater. lol

We have snow in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and to a lesser extent South Australia. Not very often and not very heavy near the cities and it melts quickly and doesn't lie except in some mountain areas where there are ski resorts.Even those are topped up with man made snow most of the time.

WhackyJackieInOz

WhackyJackieInOz Report 9 Jun 2009 14:09

Sandie New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania all get snow we have some great Snow Skiing Areas here
