Just the T Sandie

No didn't go see Steve today I'm still a bit sniffly so thought it best not to.
I will probably go on Saturday now. My sister finishes work at 2pm on Saturday so we will probably go together. I rang up today and he was sleeping so it looks like he is resting most of the time now. They said there was no change. It's a bit of a worry but not much I can do to help I suppose. Cruel thing to say but I wish he could just go to sleep and not wake up now. No quality of life left for him poor soul.

I did washing also today and it did rain a little but managed to get it out in the wind for a couple of hours and it was dry enough to bring in and air on the clothes horse
Hope you are having a good day

Hi Jackie~~
and to any else around ~~

Hope you're feeling better today Jack and feeling a bit warmer ? Did you go to see your brother? I suspect not looking at the times of your emails( haven't opened them yet) had to go to town and get my washing out as it's fine and windy but no blue skies and supposed to be heavy rain tomorrow.
My washer is on the go all the time, don't think son and dau (deffo not dau) wear anything more than once! Neither of them smoke, hubby and I don't, smoking is banned in all public places, so it's not like we were their age and had been somewhere were there was smoking and your clothes reeked of it. If mine were I would never even put them in the clothes basket, they went straight into a plastic bag tied up and were washed the next day!
I digress.lol

Son's just come home from work and we've been inspecting his new purchase..new shoes for work , the one's he's been wearing had to be black and are from about 5 yrs ago when he used to walk home from school ( so he tells me ).. me or our friend always drove the boys to school in the mornings... they would never have gotten up earlier enough to walk !'lol

Jackie can correct us tomorrow if you're wrong.lol,..which I doubt.
But if Daff was correct with children, they don't play croquet (unless they are very posh ) and Conkers can only be between 2 people.

born 18th Jan / June /July 1904 / 5 A A L is Best Known as C G..?

Edit ..glad your back is a bit better, mine has been giving me jip the last few days , but no big deal, and my ankle which I must have twisted when in North Wales, which seemed to have cleared up over the weekend is playing up again...old age doesn't come by itself !

Hi Sandie. All well with me. My back problem has eased off a bit thank goodness.
I was working on the connection between conkers and thought H C T could have been the tree. However, could cricket or croquet be the first "C" word? There again, more than two players involved in those sports!
Well, if you think I could be right (which I am doubting) I'll post one to keep things going:

Hi Jan~~
Hope you've had a good day :)
Conkers just came to mind ..and they are from the Horse Chestnut Tree.
I never played under the shade of the tree tho ( It's a phrase I guess).. the conker tree was too far from my house.lol
I've heard of 'under the shade of the chestnut tree' but not 'horse chestnut tree' depends from which area you are from...sounds good..go for it:)
