Nite Jan~~
I did put in the 'the' at 22.20, but am mystified by the S.

Sweet dreams:)

Hi Sue,
yes the "the" is correct.
Afraid must be off now but will leave a clue.

S 3 thousand, the B O H is the L T in the United Kingdom

the first S is opposite of "standing", but not "sitting"
B is a coastal town in the north-west of England
O H is a cultural building....

Good luck! Please carry on if you get stuck..... Night all. Best greetings.

t..the , to, though, through, that, this. these, those.

The S is mystifying coming before a number, that's why I thought it was some.

Lol Sue ..wmsl
I used to 'tap' the old phone boxes in my teenage yrs, trouble was my friend who I rang most, her father was a BT engineer and when he answered and didn't' hear 'the coins dropping when button A should have been pressed, used to say to her....'Tell Sandie she's not put money in again '
Bless him ,he was a JP also ,he and my parents were best friends and I loved him to bits, but he never told me off himself about it !
My phone is on the blink and we have one of my sons old ones here so rather than buy a new one will probably use that, then I'll be in a pickle :)))

Hi Sandie

Yes, fine thanks. Except I've replaced my Nokia brick with this state of the art phone thingy, which will allow me (some day) to hook up to work e mails. Right now, it doesn't - strange codes like )8x00510 apparently mean something to the IT geeks at work.

In the meantime, I haven't quite worked out how to answer the b****y thing when it rings

Oh, for the days when important phone calls were made from phone boxes! I just about got "press button B"

Funny, but sometimes the "light bulb" goes on! Just hits ya! Yikes! gotta come up with one!

S 3t, t B O H i t L T i t U K

Clue: the 3t could be read as 3K (a number...)

Hi Sandie. 19 May 1536 it was. Poor lady! (And most likely she was innocent after all's said and done!)
No I'm not in the UK but I am a true-Brit! Maybe I should put up a post as "where does Jan50 come from" - tee-hee!
Over to you.....

Hi Jan~~
You can't be in the Uk cos you told me we have an hours difference ..lol
I'm sure you're not far away and only seconds on the puter anyway :)
Yes! you thinks right, it was my turn , but no one seems around between 6 and 9pm, if you notice I've been 'talking to myself ' the last few nights so thought I'd leave it til a bit later to put one up ,rather than having to keep checking if someone had answered :)
Lets have a go at yours then

Anne Boleyn, the 2nd Wife of Henry 8th was Executed on 19 March /May 1536....?

Edit ..I always watch a soap at 7pm and there's a prog I want to watch at 8.30 tonight !

BTW - Roger Bannister was the correct answer to my last night's post.
Well, I'll leave one on to keep things going.
