a Particular/(?) /popular 1st Course Oyster Kilpatrick are Oysters Grilled / Garnished(?) with Bacon and Worcestershire Sauce...?

As it's an Australian recipe and Kill Patrick refers to the Irish murder, think that maybe the answer!..as it was Daph's question.

Hi Liz,
No Guinness.
There is an Irish name disguised in there .

Liz

Liz Report 21 Jul 2009 09:05

Morning!

Think this one has got us a bit stumped.

Could the G be Guinness? (The Irish connection!)

Just a quick visit before getting on with the jobs. I'll probably dip in and out today - pouring with rain here so no gardening today but always plenty of other things need doing.

Hope to have a few lie-in's and not have to get up at 5-40am, nothing planed, but might go and see sister who live's in the Wirral. If I feel energetic enough might even make a start at decorating my bedroom.
Not much of a relaxing week off lol.

Haven't got a clue on this question lol

Hi and Bye Lz .lol, might catch you later:)
Hi Diane, ankle seems to be OK now , occasional twinge but much better thanks:)
I'm not eligible for the flu jab, too young and no health probs and I was a mere babe in 1957, so I'll just have to take my chances.
I think the normal flu jab must give some resistance against this other strain.
Doing anything special on your week off or just relaxing ?
Oh I hate questions with low numbers !!
If it's onion gravy it has to be onion K...?also.
An Irish murder ?? where does that fit in, unless it's some sort of sacrilege against a type of Irish food > Phew stuck !
I'll have a vino, see if that will perk up my brain .lol

Diane

Diane Report 20 Jul 2009 21:15

Lol Liz Singing all the way
It's getting a bit scary with all the new cases, my employer is worried for her son who is disabled, and a cold will cause enough problem's with him, she say's if he get's swine flu she think's he won't survive it.
I myself feel the reason it's not affecting the old is maybe the vaccine they had for last winter's flu is protecting them in some way, or maybe the 1957 flu which was a bad one has given them the anti-bodies against this one?
what do you think?

Edit= See you soon Liz

Liz

Liz Report 20 Jul 2009 21:03

And you'll sing all the way?

I've been trying to catch up with jobs today - first proper day of the summer hols, though school closed early due to swine flu.

Edit - sorry, I'm going now - want to watch Supersizers. See you soon!

Yeh, Liz
First time off since April, got load's to catch up with in my own home, if the weather stay's the same I shouldn't have a problem lol. If it inprove's I will go and do some visiting, maybe go over the water to Moreton on the Wirral and visit my sister. Instead of going by train I might go on the Ferry across the Mersey
