Hi Sandie,
How are you?
cwt stands for carat weight, gemstones are measured in carat weight.

Stone Weighing 708 CWT ?
Any famous stone that weight?
But doesn't CWT stand for 3 words?

Daphne Report 9 Aug 2009 17:47

Had a short email from Jackie she has been having problems with her computer, I think she sent it from somebody else's computer.
She seems okay herself.

Geordie there is connection between the number 708 and Short Waves but it sounds too technical for a general knowledge quiz.

Sandie should put up the next if she is about.Give her a bit longer.

I typed it into google 708CTW and this was one of the things amongst others I came up with

"Splendid Ring With 4 65 Ctw Precious Stones Genuine Clean Round ...
Sumptuous Ring With 210 Ctw Precious Stones Genuine Clean Round Diamonds And Citrine Made Of 14k Two Tone Gold Sumptuous Necklace With """"708 Ctw """"Precious. ...
nipplerings.dnsalias.net/splendid-ring-with-4-65-ctw-precious-stones--genuine-clean-round-diamonds-and-tanzanite-made-of-14k-white-g... - Similar"
Google it yourself you may find something you think fits:))
Good luck:)

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your input.

Yes, it is one of those Charity Quiz Sheets again, it is local to Kidderminster, England, for PHAB (Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied).

What is connection to gems for 708 then?

The 12 D in a J - I was thinking along lines of jury or disciples too!!!!!

Hi folks

I haven't been on here for ages as you are all far too good at this for me and I have been a bit busy with stuff around the house, eg finishing off new kitchen.

My hubby bought me another of these quiz sheets for a local charity and I have got 47 answers out of 50 but am stuck on these and I know that someone on here is bound to know the answers so I am going to be really cheeky and ask for your help again.

ST aka PD
SW, 708 CTW
12 D in a J

Hope you don't mind me popping in again and having the nerve to ask for help.

Thanks.
