On a steel platform.

I have just been having a look at it.

I originally googled World's smallest Countries and this little principality was not mentioned it all.
But it has made interesting reading.

It is amazing what you come up with Sue.

World's smallest country? The tiny Principality of Sealand, which began life as Roughs Tower in 1941, is a 550 sq metre S Platform , positioned on two Concrete towers 11 km off the coast of Harwich, eastern England..

Just the S to get - clue - a kind of metal

To complete the story

"Former British army major Paddy Roy Bates began occupying the island with his family in 1967, declared it a state in international waters and gave himself the title "prince''.

Britain's navy attempted to evict him the following year but were unsuccessful. As they entered territorial waters, Roy of Sealand fired warning shots from the former fort.

A judge then ruled in his favour that Sealand was outside British government control as it was beyond the three-mile limit of the country's waters.

In 1974, Roy of Sealand introduced a constitution. A flag, national anthem, currency - the gold and silver Sealand dollar which is the equivalent to the US dollar - and passports have followed suit.

Four years later, Dutch and German businessmen on Sealand to discuss a business deal kidnapped Roy's son but were overpowered and held as prisoners of war before eventually being released. "

No, Jan, it's Country

Here we go so far

World's smallest country? The tiny Principality of Sealand, which began life as Roughs Tower in 1941, is a 550 sq metre S P, P on two C Towers 11 km off the coast of Harwich, eastern England..?

I've added a comma between the two Ps for more clarity

The second P relates to how it is positioned, and the C relates to the material used to make the towers

Does that help?

Well it is just off the coast in line with Harwich, and according to google maps 10 kilometre s off the coast of Suffolk, but as for the S S P on 2 C T, I'm stuck !
My English geography's not too good but isn't Essex next to Suffolk ?

Hi Sandie
I had originally put a place beginning with H, but then realised it was in Yorkshire! Hence my hasty deletion! What do you reckon on East Essex?
Must admit this a really tricky question we're trying to guess the answer to!
