I don't see his birth, nor in 1921 , nor in 1911 with his supposed father.


His parents are NOT this couple, who emigrated to NY in 1909 with two daughters, and are on 1910 US Census:

Someone called Mary Anne has a Herbert Stimpson 1905 in her GR tree.
No birthplace given.

Herbert is on 16 Ancestry trees.

Allowing for the fact that most will just have copied blindly from each other, they have his birth as 29/12/1905 , presumably from the 1989 death cert.

Most say his mother was Jessie Stimpson (1872 Suffolk -1918 Brentford) - no father named.
Some call him Albert, and give this as his birth, which I had also wondered about:

One or two mistakenly say he was born in the USA, having copied from one which has clicked the wrong Kensington in the dropdown list and ended up with Kensington, Hartford, Connecticut.

If he was born Albert George, apparently he was born at Marloes Road, Kensington - which info must have come from the birth cert, although there's no documentation attached to the tree which says that..
