Thank you so much for your input. My father's name is Herbert Salter, his date of birth 14/7/1910. I know he was in the army but not which regiment, he was a pow in Japan |

WW2 service records in general are not online, but there are some records of British POWs in Japan, and some other bits and pieces, on Ancestry - and possibly elsewhere.. |
