Having found what I think is my Grandfathers Military record but it is incomplete, how do I find out if it is him, it doesn't state who his parents are etc, where do I look for further information please.

Huge numbers of WW1 forces records no longer exist at all, so you're actually lucky to have found anything.

Unfortunately, there's no way to find out anything else..

When was he born?
Did he survive the war?

Is this the record you found?

Ernest Wm. Willmott
in the UK, World War I Pension Ledgers and Index Cards, 1914-1923
View Original Image on Fold3.
Name: Ernest Wm. Willmott
Rank: Cpl
Record Type: Card
Death Date: 25 Jul 1917
Service Number: 33667
Corps, Regiment or Unit: Army Service Corp
Title: WWI Pension Record Cards and Ledgers
Description: Other Ranks Died Willis E-Wills HT
Next of Kin:
Name Relation to Soldier
Ernest Wm. Willmott
Alice Willmott Mother <<<<<

If so, (courtesy of a free view of this record on Fold3) that man's address was
5 Wellington Street, Lincoln - which doesn't sound as if he would be any of your Willmots of Berkshire.

(However, Berkshire looks like a red herring.
There was no Ernest William (or W) Wilmot (or other spelling) born in Berkshire 1870-1904.
There was a William Ernest (1887) but he died 1888.)

The CWGC site says the Lincoln man was 33 years old.

He died of "disease". Apart from that, there's no further info on the card.
There's a photo of his gravestone in Lincoln on Findagrave, which says his father's name was William, who died 1931, aged 71.
His mother Alice died in 1940, aged 79.

If so, then he's clearly not the soldier from Lincoln.
There's no way to know if he might be the other soldier, in Wilts Regiment, unless any of the suggestions in the National Army Museum link above bear fruit..
