WW2 service records are still with the MOD and not online. Have a look here for how to order them. They cost £30 and take quite a long time to arrive:-

He was a casualty and served in North West Europe as there is this record on Findmypast but you will need to order his service records to find the full details:-

My father David W.G.Edie ,was in the second world war, in the black watch regiment, I never knew where he was in war? As he had a stroke ,when I was a teenager lost his voice .think he might have been in Gibraltar? His army number was 2756608 ,thanks if anyone can help ?
