On the Commonwealth War Graves site page that shows his record, if you scroll down and then 'Click to view' the panel near the centre of the page, there is a typed list of names including Robert. |

You could try contacting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and asking if his name has been missed off the memorial - it does sometimes happen. |

That is definitely what it says on the Commonwealth War Graves site. He was the husband of May Marsden of Mile End Road, London. |

My Grandfather Robert Charles Marsden 42364 1st Bn East Yorkshire Reg died 26/8 1918 as a soldier in France. I was given info by Wargraves that his name was on Vis-En-Artois Memorial but have been unable to find it...someone listed all that regiments names but his was not on the list. Where else can I try please? |
